Lambeth Talking Therapies Service is part of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies service (IAPT). Our service is available to anyone 18 years and older registered with a Lambeth GP.
We offer talking therapies for people experiencing mild to moderate depression, general anxiety and worry, panic attacks, social anxiety, traumatic memories and obsessive compulsive disorder. We also offer help with other problems including anger, eating, and relationship or sexual difficulties.
We offer appointments at many GP surgeries and clinics across the borough of Lambeth.
If our service isn’t right for you, we’ll suggest alternatives that are more likely to meet your needs and put you in contact with an appropriate service. Please review the below guide for the services in the area.
Community and Services Guide
We have put together a guide to a whole range of useful services and resources: Community and Services Guide. Please download the file to find the service that is best suited to your needs. This is a guide developed for individuals who live in Lambeth, who require support for many different reasons.
“I have just completed ten sessions of group CBT and the whole experience has been fantastic, inspiring and life changing. It works; it really does!”
We are not an emergency service. If you need urgent help please contact either your GP or attend the Accident and Emergency Department of your local hospital (24hrs).
Alternatively, if you’re experiencing a crisis and need support and advice, you can call the Samaritans 24 hour helpline on 116 123 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
