Preventing Depression in Young People
Do young people whose parents have depression have difficulties with low mood themselves? For those who do, can a new group, called Coping with Stress, reduce these symptoms and help prevent future depression?
We would like to invite you to take part if you:
- Have, or have had, a diagnosis of depression
- Have one or more children aged between 10 and 17
If you decide to take part, your child will be invited to fill in a short screening questionnaire. Young people who have some symptoms of low mood, but don’t have depression, will be further invited to take part in trial for a new group called Coping with Stress.
