High Intensity Therapies

These are offered after a course of low intensity treatment when:

  • More individual support is needed to use the strategies learnt in the first-line treatment
  • The first-line treatment has identified specific problems that are best treated by an individual therapy
  • For some types of problems, high intensity therapy may be used as the first-line treatment.
  • Your mental health worker will discuss the options with you at assessment or review.
