This workshop aims to help people become more aware of the causes of sleep problems and offers you a chance to learn different ways of improving your sleep.

Many people suffer from poor sleep, and for a variety of reasons. Things that cause, maintain, and worsen sleep problems include:

  • not being able to switch off from the activities of everyday life
  • difficult episodes in life (e.g. losing a loved one, an accident)
  • worrying about problems (e.g. stress at work or home)
  • poor sleep itself – getting into a vicious cycle, worrying about not getting the sleep you need, struggling to break poor sleeping patterns

Our workshops offer you a chance to learn about:

  • what sleep is
  • different factors that can make a sleep problem worse
  • how you can use different methods that will improve your sleep
