Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update

Concerns about Covid-19 and the impact it may have on our lives is causing increased anxiety and stress for many people.

Talking Therapies Southwark is still accepting referrals and we are working hard to follow government and NHS guidelines aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19 as best as possible. This means that we are temporarily unable to offer face to face appointments.

We understand this may be frustrating and not what you expected but we are doing this to help contain the further spread of COVID-19 in Southwark and safeguard the vulnerable populations we work with.

At the moment, we can offer online/telephone/video support as well as bibliotherapy if suitable for your needs.

If you only wish to have face to face appointments we would encourage you to get in contact once we resume face to face support (we expect the situation to remain the same for a while, potentially 2-3 months). You can keep up to date on developments here on the website or by calling us on 0203 228 2194.

Please note we only accept referrals if you are registered with a Southwark GP.  If you are registered with GP @Hand they will need to make a referral on your behalf.

  • you are experiencing stress, low mood, depression or anxiety
  • you would like to know more about self-help or talking therapies
  • you are 16 or over and are registered with a Southwark GP
